-Serving communion using pan dulce (sweet bread) from a local Mexican bakery. As I held the sugar-encrusted loaf out to a woman and said, "The body of Christ, broken for you" she responded with, "Looks yummy!" We both laughed. (I posted about this on facebook and what was intended to be a bit of fun turned into a great discussion on how we in the church need to embrace the "joyful" part of this "joyful feast of the people of God.")-Receiving a postcard from my friend Angelina from her recent trip to San Francisco. She wrote, "Each hill is beautiful, each person in unique and expresses themselves without reservation." Sounds idyllic.
-Getting phone calls from good friends and being able to call them back without worrying about time difference or how much it would cost.
