My Nana passed away this morning. I awoke in the night (right around the time she passed away) and just knew. I know that she is so happy to be with my Papaw, and am grateful for her amazing 88 years of life. I'm also grateful that I brought her communion on Saturday with my parents. What a gift that time was. I had read a portion of Psalm 139 that day that is so appropriate today too:

I am sorry for your loss, but am confident you are correct that she is happy in a much better place. She has returned home.
Thank you, Stewart. I know she's better off, and am so glad I was able to spend so much time with her over the past couple of months.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What a blessing that you have been able to spend quality time with your Nana...especially serving her Communion. I know you must have brought her much happiness and that she was proud of all of your accomplishments.
Will keep you in my prayers.
Love, Pierce
Oh Whitney - what beautiful words you have written for your grandmother. I shed a tear for you just now. But you have got it exactly right - she is in heaven with loved ones and free from pain and suffering. xo
My deepest sympathy
